At Center Point Church, it is our desire to challenge young people to study God’s Word, pray, and be involved in ministry. We strive to be a part of young lives, guiding them to change their world.
As newly appointed Youth Leaders of REALife Youth Ministries, we are dedicated to teaching God's Word, leading by example and developing meaningful relationships with our youth. REALife Ministries is an acronym for "Realizing Everyday a LIFE Needs Saving" and our goal is to teach and encourage our youth to be the instrument God uses in saving the lives of the lost in their schools, their homes, this community and at the same time building their own relationship with Jesus.
We have Youth Group services on Wednesday nights beginning at 7 p.m. These services include prayer, Bible study and fun games. Sometimes we step out of the church and take a trip to McDonald's or grab some ice cream.
The youth participate in various AG sponsored activities such as Discipleship Camp, Fine Arts, Youth Convention and Youth Camp. Our young people are talented and we encourage them to use the talents God has given them. We have dramas, human videos, singers, speakers and so much more.
REALife Youth Ministries also support the Speed-the-Light foundation which raises money for vehicles for our AG Missionaries overseas. Our goal is set and we already have several fundraisers planned to help us meet our STL goal.
Being a young Christian today doesn't mean that our youth can't have fun. Besides our AG functions and trips, the youth are looking forward to some summer get-a-ways this year to the beach and to a theme park.
Most importantly, our youth have begun a ministry work by volunteering at our local Christian Mission. This ministry has just gotten underway and we are excited about this wonderful opportunity for our youth to minister and share the love of Christ with those in the community.
If you are a teen between the ages of 12 - 18 and you are looking for a place to fit in, make friends, find purpose, or make a difference....come join us. We look forward to meeting you.
